This website will chronicle the tortuous road to becoming traditionally published.
From the moment I place a pack of yellow legal tablets on my desk, and position a box of sharpened #2 Ticonderoga pencils just so; I am in a state of bliss. Words cannot express the levels of joy I experience whenever I’m engaged in researching a topic of curiosity. Locked away and the world shut out, I become a bit of a nerd. Here’s to my neurodivergent thinking, and all that that entails. Allow me to say with the utmost expression of self-love: Regarding the art of writing: ‘Kudos to the obsessive compulsiveness of it all.’
This will be my second ‘go-round’ of pitching, and submitting a book to literary agents. My first ‘Pitch’ was in 2019, in New York City, at the Writer’s Digest Conference, where I was surprised to see, the response was favorable. I received one request for my full novel , and three other partial manuscript requests. Needless to say, I was psyched. Then along came COVID, and of course, I caught it. Three times, over the following two and a half years.
While I was quarantined in 2021, I began to put the concepts together for converting my website: ‘Yah, Father Of Lights.com‘ into book format. In 2023, 'Yahuah’s Heavenly Calendar: Learning To Count the Days', began to take shape, and was finally completed in August 2025. It has been a long and arduous road.
My website and blog, will deal with everything it takes to give birth to a ‘book-baby’; i.e., obtaining a literary agent, revisions, pitching, creating a website; even building a social media presence when you would prefer to spend your time writing. Of course the ultimate goal is to become published, either traditionally, or self-published. As of now, I've chosen the traditional route, and I will allow myself 9 months for that to happen. If no success, on to Option 2. Either way, I will keep you posted. Fair warning; I’ve oft been accused of being long-winded. Bear with me.

She believes that anyone can keep Torah and be counted as one of 'The Chosen' of the Most High, Yahuah. For that indeed is the ordained calling of all Torah/Commandment Keepers; to go out into the world and bring The Law of Yahuah to the nations.

Learning To Count the Days

This book is dedicated to the restoration of Yahuah's Heavenly Calendar. The purpose is to guide us out of the darkness embodied in the Gregorian Calendar, and into the light of the biblical time clock established at The Creation.
We do this by looking up and observing the Greater and Lesser Lights Yahuah placed in the heavens. We remember that the former was ordained to be a guide for regulating the days and years; while the latter was ordained to be for signs and Appointed-Feasts.
By learning to 'count the days' according to the correct lunar phases, you will develop a better understanding of prophetic timing, you will know what 'generation' you are in and subsequently, be able to discern what 'Day' it is.
When you count the days by Yahuah's calendar, all the Mo'edim: His Feasts, Shabbats, and Appointed-Times will occur in righteous order; and the alignment will have spiritual benefit for all the Set-Apart Chosen Ones throughout the world.
May the Ruach HaQodesh, grant us Wisdom and Understanding. Amein.
