The Divine Restoration:

The Eighth Day

Similar to the Shabbats and the correct New Moons, the 8th Day is also consecrated and Set-Apart unto Yahuah. It represents the physical and spiritual relationship He desires to have with us, provided we meet certain purification standards, as we cannot come before Him in an 'unclean' state. Following is the Torah on how His created were to present themselves before him.

The Physical Requirements of the 8th Day

Leprosy

In the bible, if a person found themselves to be in a state of 'uncleanness' according to Torah, e.g., having a condition that prevented them from being 'in the camp,' or from coming before Yahuah; the Law required that they go through a period of purification. They were to separate themselves fro other people, and not come before Yahuah.

If the condition was Leprosy: They were to meet the conditions of the high priests out side the camp first. If allowed to return to the camp, he was to remain outside his tent in the open for 7 days. Once declared 'clean' by the priests, he brought the required things and made a sin and burnt offering before Yahuah.

Nazarite Vow

When a man who has taken a Nazarite vow, finds himself suddenly defiled by touching the dead; and has therefore defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing- on the 7th day. He shall make the required sacrifice with the priests, shave his head, and begin his vow anew.

Childbirth

If a woman conceived and gave birth to a son, she was unclean for 7 days according to the days of her separation for her infirmity - she shall be unclean. On the 8th Day she shall have him circumcised. Similarly, the male child shall be circumcised on the 8th Day.

The Tabernacle

The tabernacle was a dwelling that housed the Ark Of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies. Yahuah would descend and dwell among His Chosen People. It makes sense that Yahuah even gave a commandment for purifying and consecrating the Tabernacle:

The priests were to separate themselves, and purge the altar and purify it for 7 Days, and on the 8th day (and going forward) the priests were accepted before Yahuah.

So, from these examples, we can see that the 8th Day is a physical purification.

The Divine Display of the 8th Day

The 8th Day is forever associated with the Feast of Cukkot, aka, the Feast of Tabernacles, or the Feast of Booths. This feast commemorated the Hebrews living in the wilderness in booths. They were to rejoice with food, songs, dances, instruments and praise Yahuah for all he provides. Yah Yireh!

There are never too many opportunities to examine 'The Count' of Yahuah's Heavenly Calendar; so I cannot let an opportunity pass by without proving that Yahuah's Time Clock, His Heavenly Calendar, Does. Not. Change.

To prove this, consider the calendar below. It is the 7th Hebrew Month calendar for the year 2027!

(The Gregorian dates can be easily verified).

The Gregorian dates are GREEN

The Weekly Count is BLUE

The Monthly Count is WHITE

The Torah/Commandment:

'Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a Feast unto Yahuah seven days; on the first day shall be a Shabbat, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbat.' ~Leviticus 23:39~

Without learning to count the days correctly it might be easy to conclude that the 7th day spoken of in the scripture is a Shabbat. That would be an understandable error. Remember there are 2 Simultaneous counts. Yahuah was revealing His Weekly Count to Mosheh and the people.

Begin on the 15th Day of the Monthly Count, (which is colored GOLD just for Cukkot), and count for 7 Days, as instructed. The 7th Day will fall naturally on the 8th Day!

Yes, the 8th Day naturally falls on the 7th Day Shabbat, when you remember there are 2 simultaneous counts. And while we're here...

Look at the Monthly counts for the Shabbats: They naturally occur on 8-15-22-29!

No shenanigans required.

OK. Moving on!

The Spiritual Significance of the 8th Day

Consider:

Noah was the eighth from Adam.

'And spared not the old world, but saved Noach the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the wicked.'

~2 Peter 2:5~

Seven others were saved from the flood also; not because of their works, but because of their association with Noah.

'Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noach walked with Yahuah.' ~ Genesis 6:9~

Noah was a prototype, a foreshadowing of Yahusha, HaMashiach, who would also be a preacher of righteousness; walking before Yahuah perfect and without sin. At the first Advent, Yahusha offered life and sustenance via a new covenant. Like the waters of the flood, he represented a spiritual cleansing and purification, that all who believed in him and kept the Laws and Commandments of Yahuah, would be accepted into the kingdom; not unlike the seven who through no doings of their own, were saved from judgement and destruction, in the ark with Noah. Both the deluge and the Second Coming of HaMashiach offer a period of renewal, and a chance for spiritual restoration in the 8th Day.

The following cannot be repeated enough in this series, not until it is well understood and ingrained in our core:

'But beloved be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with Yahuah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.' ~2 Peter 3:8~

For Example:

  1. Six days are given to mankind: To work, to organize; to also cleanse and prepare for the 7th Day Shabbat, and the Set-Apart 'Day' of rest. What should we be doing in the 6th Millennium? Who should we be preparing for?

  2. We have seen in scripture that seven days are required to cleanse, purify, prepare, and Set-Apart. When Yahusha returns for his Millennial Reign, what will he be accomplishing during that time period? And preparing and purifying us for whom? For what?

Hear and understand what the Ruach HaQodesh is saying:

  • 6 Days (which is 6000 years) - Are given to mankind. To repent, and to Prepare for the Second Coming of Yahusha, HaMashiach, of Nazareth. 6000 years from Adam, who was made on the 6th Day of Creation. To include the Judgements, natural disasters, persecutions, and the Abomination of Desolation.

  • 1 Day (which is 1000 years) - Are determined for HaMashiach's Millennial Reign in the 7000th year from Adam.

  • The 7th Day ( which is the 7th Millennium) - 1000 years of Shabbat rest. To cleanse, atone, and purify. Our High Priest consecrating us to be acceptable before Yahuah Meqoddiskem, on the 8th Day.

  • The 8th Day (When the 7th Day is completed) - A renewed heaven, a renewed earth. Yahuah Tabernacles with us. The Tree of Life. The Water of Life,. The Bright anf Morning Star.

In conclusion, I must stress the importance of understanding the 6th, 7th, and 8th Days; for they are the 6th, 7th, and 8th Millenniums from the Creation. We are in the Preparation Age, the 6th Millennium.
